Liv Roumel & Daphne Hardy | North Star Lounge

Writer, singer, and guitarist Olivia "Liv" Roumel paints raw, ethereal storytelling with intricate harmony. Based in Denver, Colorado, her music is fed by her solo time in the surrounding wild landscapes - which has led her to coin the term "nature-soul" to describe her music.
Raised in Ann Arbor, Michigan, Olivia was lucky to be immersed in local music, poetry, and arts from a young age. Steeped in vocal jazz and expressive lyricism, paired with a unique approach to keys and guitar playing, Liv’s sound is a rule-bending fusion of R&B, soul, and singer-songwriter influences. She seeks to immerse listeners in a world that articulates the internal complexity and beauty within us all. Olivia released her debut EP - "I Take a Picture (With My Whole Being)" - in April 2025, which features Denver collaborators. It is a dreamy collection of songs exploring self-undoing, transformation, and celebration of life.

Daphne Hardy is a songwriter and storyteller originally from Ann Arbor, Michigan, now based in Denver, Colorado. Her music weaves together tender folk melodies, organic textures, and baroque pop influences. Inspired by artists like Feist, Adrianne Lenker, and Becca Stevens, her sound carries echoes of Latin and Brazilian rhythms, creating an intimate yet expansive world of song.
